Except big wide tires, 1000+ hp, was exactly the type of cars from his day. And tbh the man whose face is burned by those types of cars is not the best one to extol the virtues of such cars, especially considering even these cars are still very dangerous as we've been reminded by Bianchi. #forzajules

Lol what are you saying, his Ferrari 312T (the one he crashed with) had 510 hp. And the cars/tracks of today are not dangerous, if the truck hadn't been there when bianchi crashed, he wouldn't even have had a scratch. Just like Sutil came out of the car like nothing. Its a shame and very bad luck that it happened.

So basically he thinks we should more than double the HP of the cars so that F1 becomes dangerous again? At a certain point no amount of safety equipment will be able to protect you. Frankly, I think that F1 cars are plenty fast right now, and that most of the people complaining about noise, speed, etc. are just looking for stuff to whine about. We've had one of the most exciting seasons in years and all people do is complain, like Lauda.
